This season hasn't been kind to the Box Elder Bees, who are still winless after their fourth match. They took a 69-53 bruising from Davis on Thursday. Box Elder lost against Davis in their previous head to head back in December of 2020, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 49-42 score last time.
Zach Fisher was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 10 rebounds for Davis. Another player making a difference was Ike Morgan, who scored 11 points along with 6 assists and 4 steals.
Box Elder's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Davis, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Box Elder will take on Fremont at 8:15 p.m. on Friday. Fremont presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Box Elder in Utah (Fremont is ranked 19th, while Box Elder is ranked 106th). Davis won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Viewmont at 6:35 p.m. on December 8th.
