The Marie Philip Galloping Ghosts put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Katzenbach School for the Deaf, posting a 70-24 victory at home. Fans of Marie Philip have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Marie Philip to victory, but perhaps none more so than Stokely Karp, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier DeLeon, who scored 10 points along with 4 steals.
Marie Philip's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Katzenbach School for the Deaf, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Marie Philip will be playing at home against Rhode Island School for the Deaf at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Katzenbach School for the Deaf does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
