Baseball Recap: Eastern Randolph Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Eastern Randolph waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with an 8-5 win over the Southwestern Randolph Cougars. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 7-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Eastern Randolph saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryson Marley, who went 2-for-5 with two RBI. That's the most RBI Marley has posted since back in April of 2024. Cade McCallum was another, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Eastern Randolph pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Southwestern Randolph, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.

Southwestern Randolph wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 18-4 loss against Northwood on the 2nd. Hopefully Eastern Randolph payed attention to the Cougars' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
