Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trumbull). They put the hurt on the Westhill Vikings with a sharp 15-0 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Trumbull is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Westhill, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.

Trumbull will take on Norwalk at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Westhill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
