In other pitching news, Mount Dora Christian Academy got a good showing from Justin Martin, who pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Martin has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

Meanwhile, Seven Rivers Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 17-5 to Saint Francis Catholic.
Noah Lemar made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Mount Dora Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Seven Rivers Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Mount Dora Christian Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .448. However, it's not like Seven Rivers Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .456. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
