The biggest upset of the week belonged to Wesley Chapel, who took down 391st ranked Wesley Chapel, 17-14. Noah Siegrist ran for 129 yards in the win.
Hudson moved up to 424 from 451 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 5A District 6. The Cobras climbed the ranks as a result of defeating the Wildcats 17-14.
Fivay's dynamic duo of Tyler Degen and Andrew Meyer proved tough for Pasco to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Degen threw for 258 yards and three touchdowns and Meyer had 163 yards receiving. Kevin Faulkner helped Fivay's passing attack out by catching two balls for 53 yards.
Willie Barrett was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 17 carries, he ran for 338 yards as Anclote lost to the Pirates. Trent Crawford also contributed to the rushing game with 34 yards on the ground.
Fivay's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Falcons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Degen has thrown for 1195 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Meyer has 24 catches for 631 yards. Davion Sutton leads the league in rushing with 1007 yards.
A big matchup in 5A District 6 this week will be when Zephyrhills takes on Fivay. As it stands, the Bulldogs are in third, while Chris Taylor's team is in second.
Pasco extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Falcons, 54-20. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
