The Hialeah Educational Academy Biggie extended their postseason success on Saturday against the Divine Savior Academy Sharks. They secured a 80-76 W over the Sharks. The win was nothing new for Hialeah Educational Academy as they're now sitting on four straight.
Hialeah Educational Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chris Levy led the charge by scoring 22 points. Reece Randolph was another key contributor, scoring 21 points.
Despite the loss, Divine Savior Academy still got an impressive performance from Joost West, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Thiago Sucatzky, who scored 14 points along with six assists and three steals.
Hialeah Educational Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. As for Divine Savior Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 14-11.
Hialeah Educational Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Miami Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on February 15th. One thing working in Miami Country Day's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven matches. Divine Savior Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
