Hialeah-Miami Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Hialeah Educational Academy, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-6.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hialeah-Miami Lakes will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on International Studies at 3:30  p.m.  on October 1. As for Hialeah Educational Academy, they will face off against Mater Brickell Academy at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
