A Season-Best Effort from Logan Dent Leads Salem over Charlestown
Salem was led to victory by Logan Dent, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Dent rushed for 231 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making a tackle.
If the past is any indication, Dent could be in store for another big game when he takes on West Washington on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Dent saw the Senators), he rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.

Adam Mull Has Career Rushing Day
On Friday, Salem got the W thanks in part to Adam Mull playing the best football he has all season. Mull rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 76 yards.
This season, Mull has averaged 67.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 25 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 57.5 rushing yards.

Payton King posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He forced a fumble and made five total tackles. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making five total tackles.
The win was the third in a row for North Harrison, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. King and North Harrison will welcome Providence on Friday.

Gregory Hutcheson Goes Supernova in Brownstown Central Victory
Brownstown Central picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Gregory Hutcheson. Nobody could stop Hutcheson as he rushed for 193 yards on only nine carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.
Brownstown Central pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Hutcheson and Brownstown Central will square off against Scottsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Ryan Shields posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run.
Charlestown is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. Shields' next matchup is against Eastern on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.
