St. Pius X was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Bernalillo 41-7. The Sartans came in at 22 in the state poll after placing at number 29 last week.
Moriarty suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after a 49-14 loss to Volcano Vista. The Fighting Pintos had been ranked 17th, but fell to 28 following the defeat.
Del Norte's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Knights feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tyrelle Jackson has thrown for 17 yards this season, while Isaiah Hoge has one catches for 13 yards. Daryl Wiggins leads the league in rushing with 103 yards.
