The Bella Vista Broncos are taking a road trip to face off against the Inderkum Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Bella Vista picked up another tournament win on Tuesday. They came out on top against Rosemont by a score of 5-1.
Mackenzie Dean made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lilly Cornejo, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Inderkum waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Honkers get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Not much got past Emily Jacobus, who gave up just four hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Yuba City off the board.
At the plate, Ambrosia Estacio was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Anyssa Luttig also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Inderkum's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Bella Vista, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season.
Bella Vista came out on top in a nail-biter against Inderkum in their previous matchup back in March, sneaking past 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Broncos since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
