The matchup between First Baptist School and Palmetto Christian Academy on Monday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Hurricanes never let Palmetto Christian Academy get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. First Baptist School might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by seven goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Palmetto Christian Academy from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Josh Laney led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by himself.

First Baptist School's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Palmetto Christian Academy, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Coincidentally, First Baptist School and Palmetto Christian Academy will both be playing John Paul II the next time they take the pitch. The Hurricanes will head out to face the Golden Warrriors at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Palmetto Christian Academy will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
