While Lely's win against Everglades City wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, the Trojans made off with a 69-68 victory over the Gators. The Trojans' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

When it comes to explaining why Everglades City lost on Tuesday, don't look at Louis Billie. Despite the final result, he went 6-for-13 on his way to 21 points. With that strong performance, Billie is now averaging an impressive 15.6 points per game. Antonio Tosca was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards.

Lely's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Everglades City, they moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Lely has already played their next game, a 65-59 win against East Lee County on the 26th. As for Everglades City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 83-66 victory against Cypress Lake on the 26th.
