Pocomoke got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Zymiere Walker out in front who scored eight points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jamir Roberts, who scored 14 points along with five steals.
Washington's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-8. As for Pocomoke, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
Washington on the road again on Monday and play against Decatur at 6:00 p.m. on January 22nd. As for Pocomoke, they will be playing at home against Crisfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
