Softball Recap: Sunday's Victory Is Catskill's Third in Last Four Outings

Catskill never let their opponents score on Sunday. They came out on top against the Germantown Clippers by a score of 4-0. This was a revenge game for the Cats: when they faced off against the Clippers back in April, they had to take a 10-6 loss.

The result came thanks to Annika Passaretti's shutout, as she gave up just two hits.

At the plate, Ava Edmonds was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Catskill has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Germantown, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-9.

As of now, neither Catskill nor the Clippers have any future games scheduled.
