The Brady Eagles won the last time they faced the Sutherland Sailors, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Brady strolled past Sutherland with points to spare, taking the game 62-43. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Brady.
Brady's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Taryn Stearns, who scored 18 points along with 9 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lydia McGown, who scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Several Sailors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Story Rasby, who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Gracyn Elfeldt was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 3 steals.
Brady's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Sutherland, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Brady will head out on the road to face off against Paxton at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Sutherland, they will be playing at home against Sandhills Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
