Rumson-Fair Haven put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. They were the clear victor by a 28-7 margin over Brick Memorial. No one put up better numbers for Rumson-Fair Haven than senior Alex Maldjian, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 145 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Freehold Boro, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 15-34 loss to Brick Township.
Rumson-Fair Haven's win lifted them to 3-0 while Freehold Boro's defeat dropped them down to 2-1. We'll find out if Rumson-Fair Haven can add another positive mark to their record or if Freehold Boro can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Rumson-Fair Haven's step.
