The Lakeland Dreadnaughts will face off against the All Saints' Academy Saints at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. All Saints' Academy took a loss in their last  matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lakeland, who comes in off a win.
Lakeland took a loss when they played away from home  on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Monday. Everything went their way against Ridge Community as they made off with  a  14-3 win. The  victory continues a trend for the Dreadnaughts in their matchups with the Bolts: they've now won five in a row.
 Kennedy Davenport made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out ten batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   three  hits. She has been consistent  recently: she hasn't  tossed less than eight  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.

 In other batting news,  Paige Bettcher and  Brooke Martinez did most of the damage at the plate:  Bettcher  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double, while  Martinez  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances. Those  four  RBI gave  Bettcher a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Kylie Wells, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances.
Meanwhile, All Saints' Academy lost  21-5 to Sarasota Christian on Tuesday.
  Sarah Dugger was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-1. The team also got some help courtesy of  Rowan Toman, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with two  stolen bases and one  RBI.
 Lakeland's win bumped their record up to 5-12. As for All Saints' Academy, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record  this season.
