When it comes to explaining why Seminole Ridge lost, one person who can't be blamed is Calvin Warren. Despite the final result, he scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Warren has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Elliot Petit-Frere, who scored six points along with four steals.
Glades Central's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Seminole Ridge, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glades Central will square off against Clewiston at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clewiston is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Seminole Ridge will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Boca Raton at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. Boca Raton has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 316 points over their last five matchups.
