The Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat South Lenoir 54-22 on the road. The win was just what Wallace-Rose Hill needed coming off of a 67-45 loss in their prior game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wallace-Rose Hill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amir Moore, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Jamarae Lamb, who scored 11 points.
Wallace-Rose Hill's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for South Lenoir, they dropped their record down to 3-15 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wallace-Rose Hill will take on the Hawks at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Lenoir, they will head out on the road to challenge the Tigers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. James Kenan presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Blue Devils in North Carolina (the Tigers are ranked 249th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 575th).
