Adding to the longest winning streak in 3A - North this week, Morgan beat Union 47-13. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Trojans.
Judge Memorial took down Carbon 62-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Mark Barnett ran for 50 yards in the win.
Justan Potter was a key player and the best on defense this week as Emery lost to Grantsville. The 6-foot-2 senior racked up 1 sack.
Landen Winn was the best receiver in the league this week as the Cougars lost to Morgan. Winn racked up 5 receptions for 56 yards. Nic Smith helped Union's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 50 yards.
Union's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tye Winterton has thrown for 905 yards and 8 touchdowns this season, while Smith has 18 catches for 359 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Morgan takes on second place Grantsville. Kovi Christiansen's team bested Union last week, while the Cowboys topped the Spartans.
