Lumberton waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Vidor Pirates 42-28. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 34-28 loss the last time these two teams met.

Lumberton's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Justin Marchuk was especially locked on to Vidor's QB and sacked him twice.

Lumberton now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Vidor, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Lumberton has already played their next matchup, a 45-20 victory against Hardin-Jefferson on the 24th. As for Vidor, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 48-19 win against Liberty on the 24th.
