The Willits Wolverines lost against the Cloverdale Eagles back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Willits received a tough blow as they fell 63-47 to Cloverdale.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cloverdale to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Patton, who scored 25 points along with eight rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Patton has scored at least a third of Cloverdale's points. Kyle Garibaldi was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Willits has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season. As for Cloverdale, they now have a winning record of 13-12.
Willits does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cloverdale, they will be playing at home against Upper Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Cloverdale focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Friday.
