The Bayonne Bees fell victim to the Passaic County Tech Bulldogs''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were outmatched by the Bulldogs on the road and fell 42-0. Bayonne's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Leo Lin threw for 68 yards on ten of 22 attempts. Deon Mckinnon was his top target, picking up 37 receiving yards. On the ground, Rocky Rodriguez rushed for 41 yards.
Bayonne's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Passaic County Tech, their victory was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 10-0.
Bayonne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Passaic County Tech will face off against Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (Union is ranked 50th, while Passaic County Tech is ranked 26th).
