With a playoff win on the line, Godby rose to the challenge on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wakulla War Eagles 74-34. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 22 points or more this season.

Godby's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Corey Williams, who posted 24 points. The dominant performance gave Williams a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Damien Shepherd, who had 17 points.

Godby has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points per game. As for Wakulla, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
