Gowanda is 0-10 against Randolph since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Gowanda Panthers will look to defend their home court against the Randolph Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Tuesday, Gowanda beat Eden 64-56. The win was all the more spectacular given Gowanda's disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 702nd, while Eden is ranked 296th).
Meanwhile, Randolph didn't have too much trouble with Frewsburg at home on Tuesday as they won 59-41.
Gowanda's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6. As for Randolph, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2.
Gowanda was taken down by Randolph 91-37 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Gowanda was down 49-17.
