Theman Taylor III ran for two touchdowns and
Vince Volpatti added two as well as
Valley Christian (Dublin, Calif.) defeated
Ferndale (Calif.) 34-6 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a Volpatti touchdown run in the first quarter, the Vikings were up 28-6 at the half.
Valley Christian expanded its lead to 28 points entering the fourth quarter. VC scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by Taylor III.
The loss snapped Ferndale's six-game winning streak.
Ferndale's lone touchdown came on a 5-yard run in the second quarter.
The Dublin school entered the contest giving up 21.7 points per game this year.
The loss comes after Ferndale defeated Calistoga 50-28 last week.
