The Ozark Hillbillies will take on the Warren Lumberjacks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Ozark sitting on four straight victories and Warren on 13.
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Ozark had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 49-14 victory over the Wolves. Ozark might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won nine matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Koby Wilbanks continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 244 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. Wilbanks has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last four times he's played. Brayden Miner was another key contributor, rushing for 80 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Warren beat Bauxite 28-21 on Friday.
Their wins bumped Ozark to 10-2 and Lincoln to 8-4.
Everything went Ozark's way against Warren in their previous meeting back in November of 2019 as Ozark made off with a 41-17 victory. Does Ozark have another victory up their sleeve, or will Warren turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
