Manual got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jovan Collins-Falcon out in front who scored 22 points along with five rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Collins-Falcon has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Deshawn Fox, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Manual is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Thomas MacLaren School, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-6.
Manual won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against DSST: Green Valley Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. DSST: Green Valley Ranch is on a five-game streak of home wins, Manual a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Thomas MacLaren School will take on Fowler at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
