West Salem faced McNary in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Titans were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Celtics. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

West Salem's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.3 runs over those games. As for McNary, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-4.

Coming up, West Salem will take on South Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for McNary, they are taking a road trip to face off against Beaverton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Beavers will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Celtics surely won't give up without a fight.
