Softball Recap: Timpanogos Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Timpanogos, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against the Mountain View Bruins by a score of 11-8 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 20-9 back in March.

Kaydance Pope was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Kaleah Sao was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run.

Timpanogos was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They are a perfect 12-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Timpanogos' win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Mountain View, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Timpanogos is set to face off against their familiar foe Uintah at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mountain View will take on rival Provo at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
