Oak Glen lost to The Linsly School back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Golden Bears blew past the Cadets 16-5. The result was nothing new for the Golden Bears, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.
Danica Holden was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024.

Oak Glen's record now sits at 9-6. As for The Linsly School, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oak Glen will venture away from home to face off against Steubenville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Linsly School, they will challenge Monroe Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
