Meanwhile, Kelliher/Northome stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They claimed a resounding 84-12 victory over Littlefork-Big Falls at home. Winning may never get old, but Kelliher/Northome sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Kelliher/Northome's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kate Thayer, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten steals. Thayer is crushing the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Thayer, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds.
Laporte has not been sharp recently as the team has lost 18 of their last 19 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-26 record this season. As for Kelliher/Northome, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.
