On Friday, the KIPP College Prep Panthers's game was all tied up 25-25 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They enjoyed a cozy 64-45 victory over Bell. The win made it back-to-back wins for KIPP College Prep.
AJ Jackson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with five assists and four steals. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. Joey Mitchell was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with four steals.
KIPP College Prep pushed their record up to 6-8 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points per game. As for Bell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. KIPP College Prep will face off against Parkside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bell, they will head out on the road to face off against Coolidge at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
