Hollis-Brookline and Hanover are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Cavaliers are taking a road trip to take on the Bears at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Hollis-Brookline 3.4, Hanover 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Connor Gryniewicz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Gryniewicz was even better at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI and one run. Those four hits gave him a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Matthew Howie looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
