It was a good run, but  the Walker Wolverines unfortunately witnessed the end of their  eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a  49-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lassiter. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  points Walker has scored all season.
 Despite the loss, Walker still got an impressive performance from   Noah Pederson, who  scored 20 points. The  game was  Pederson's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Anderson Carey, who  scored ten points.
 Lassiter was led to victory by  Kyhir Torrence and  Jaden Emmanuelli.  Torrence  scored 13 points along with three  steals, while  Emmanuelli  scored 16 points. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for him.  Anthony Venuti was another key contributor,  scoring five points along with six  rebounds.
 Walker's defeat  ended a three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 8-2. As for Lassiter, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.
 Walker's road trip will continue as they head out to face Marietta at 4:30  p.m.  on December 21st. Marietta will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while Walker is ranked 83rd). Lassiter and South Forsyth will face off  at 2:30  p.m.  on December 28th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. South Forsyth has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 204 points over their last three contests.
