Josh Kim tossed a big game, striking out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
On the hitting side, Ryan Kurre was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 0-5 when he doesn't). Evan Frangas also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
