After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Warren, Bellflower was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past the Gahr Gladiators 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Buccaneers: when they faced off against the Gladiators two weeks ago, they had to take a 2-1 loss.
Bellflower wouldn't go down easily and took Gahr into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22, 23-25, 14-25, 15-7.
Johan Canedo paced Bellflower's offense, picking up 22 kills. Canedo got some help from Aydan Flores and his 39 assists. Jesus Gaytan controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
