Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brown County). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the North Greene Spartans a 19-0 shutout on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won seven contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Brown County's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for North Greene, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
