Even though Bethel Baptist Academy scored an imposing 57 points on Monday, Calvary Academy still came out on top. Calvary Academy had just enough and edged Bethel Baptist Academy out 60-57. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Calvary Academy.
Meanwhile, King's Christian pushed their score all the way to 56 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Atlantic Christian 61-56. The game was a 28-28 toss-up at halftime, but King's Christian couldn't quite close it out.
Calvary Academy's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for King's Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 15-5.
Calvary Academy took a serious blow against King's Christian when the teams last played back in January, falling 71-28. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Calvary Academy was down 41-16.
