The Amador Buffaloes will head out on the road to face off against the Colfax Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Amador can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Argonaut 23-22. The win was just what Amador needed coming off of a 55-6 loss in their prior match.
Amador's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brad Blankenheim, who rushed for 93 yards and two touchdowns. Jessie Judd did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 104 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, Colfax earned a 21-13 win over Bear River on Friday.
It was another big night for Malachi Thompson, who rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns.
Amador now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Colfax, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
