That result was just more of the same for these two, as Firm Foundation Christian also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
When it comes to explaining why Washington School for the Deaf lost, one person who can't be blamed is Julian Robinson. Despite the final result, he scored 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Robinson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. La'Juan Malone was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Firm Foundation Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Washington School for the Deaf, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 5-7.
Firm Foundation Christian will take on Mossyrock at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Washington School for the Deaf, they will be playing at home against Naselle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
