The Reagan Rattlers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 42-21 margin over SA Roosevelt. The result was nothing new for Reagan, who have now won six contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Cole Pryor had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 200 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Rayshun Hurt, who rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown.
Reagan's win was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.0 points per game. As for SA Roosevelt, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.
Reagan will square off against Brandeis at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Brandeis will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 364th, while Reagan is ranked 41st). As for SA Roosevelt, they will be playing at home against Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
