Hephzibah has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Harlem Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Hephzibah suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They suffered a tough 75-49 defeat at the hands of Salem.
Meanwhile, Harlem pushed their score all the way to 55 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 62-55 to Cross Creek.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Chavis Johnson, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Lemar Edmond was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with five rebounds.
Hephzibah has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season. As for Harlem, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.
Hephzibah couldn't quite finish off Harlem in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 and fell 63-60. Thankfully for Hephzibah, Johnathan Howard (who scored 13 points along with six assists and three steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
