B District 2 (8 Man) recap September 24, 2013
Cyril's Hunter Downs recorded the longest rushing play in B District 2 (8 Man) this season in his game against Paoli last week. Downs' team beat the Pugs as he sprinted for 80 yards on the play and finished with 221 in all.
Alex led the league in scoring this week by notching 52 points on Fox.
Allen's dynamic duo of Justin Deaton and Dalton James proved to be unstoppable against Oklahoma Christian Academy, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Deaton threw for 247 yards and 3 touchdowns and James had 121 yards receiving. Colten Browning helped Allen's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 67 yards.
The Mustangs' dynamic duo of Deaton and James proved tough for the Eagles to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Downs was the best running back in the league this week. Jordan Konency also contributed to the rushing game with 56 yards on the ground.
James was the best wideout in B District 2 (8 Man) this week as Allen topped Oklahoma Christian Academy.
Downs was a force in the backfield as Cyril bested Paoli.
Jeffery Williams was a key player and the best on defense this week as Josh O'Brien's team defeated Vince Fulks' team. The 5-foot-10 junior.

Deaton put up the best numbers through the air as Kenny Deaton's team topped Grey Powell's team.
Allen's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Mustangs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Deaton has thrown for 403 yards and 3 touchdowns this season, while James has 7 catches for 184 yards.
Fans will be treated to a premier battle in the secondary when the Mustangs' James goes up against Central's Mikel Womack.
Next week's game between Allen and the Bronchos will feature a good passing match up as Deaton will test his arm against Womack's defensive ability.
One of the league's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when the Mustangs and Central face off next week.
As it stands, the Pirates are in first, while the Foxes are in fourth.
