Despite the defeat, Parklane Academy saw an underclassman step up: Zoe Alford scored 21 points. Alford scored a full 60% of Parklane Academy's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

As for Parklane Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Tri-County Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Mississippi (Tri-County Academy is ranked 97th, while Parklane Academy is ranked 88th).
