 Marathon  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .788. They are  a perfect 5-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
The  win made it two in a row for Marathon and  bumps their season record up to 5-3. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7  runs in those games. As for Immaculata-La Salle, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record  this season.
 Coincidentally, Marathon and Immaculata-La Salle will both be playing Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart the next time they take the field. Immaculata-La Salle will head out to face Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday, while Marathon will  host them  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
