The Kenesaw Blue Devils will face off against the Sandy Creek Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Kenesaw will be strutting in after a victory while Sandy Creek will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Saturday, Kenesaw slipped by Bertrand 38-37. The win made it back-to-back wins for Kenesaw.
Kenesaw can attribute much of their success to Elise Schukei, who scored five points along with two steals and two blocks, and Jorja Uden, who scored nine points.
Sandy Creek won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were dealt a 66-32 loss at the hands of Milford. While losing is never fun, Sandy Creek can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 205th, while Milford is ranked 60th).
The win got Kenesaw back to even at 11-11. As for Sandy Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 6-16.
