Softball Recap: Calistoga Has No Trouble Against Credo

Calistoga hadn't done well against Credo recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Wildcats blew past the Gryphon 24-14. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won four matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Calistoga is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Credo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.

Calistoga didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-2 defeat against Clear Lake on the 16th. As for Credo, they have also already played their next match, a 16-2 loss against Tomales on the 15th.
