Oceanside came tearing into  Wednesday's  match with five straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.8 runs) and they left with even more momentum.  Oceanside has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine games,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-5-1 record  this season. As for Mission Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 18-8.

As for Mission Vista, they have the luxury  of staying home for another  game and will welcome Escondido Charter at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
